How We Function

Our mission as a church is simply to Point East Mountain families to Christ. Because of that, we are seeking to develop a place that not only is family friendly, but one that every family would want to be a part of. Whether a person is just beginning to follow Jesus, or has been following Him for a long time, Valley View is a place where anyone can feel and home and draw closer to Christ.

As we point East Mountain families to Christ our ministry is driven by four Christ-centered core values:

Experience God through weekly worship of Jesus and the teaching of His Word and Message in a way that is relevant and life changing.

Explore Truth that is found in the Bible through Sunday morning Bible Fellowships, Community Groups, Camps, Retreats and Large Group Classes aimed at specific life issues.

Enter Community by experiencing the true nature of the Body of Christ through Community Groups, Service Teams, Service Projects and Social Events.

Express Faith by using ‘God given’ talents and gifts to share the message of Christ to the community and the world.

In addition to forming our ministries around these core values, it is our dream that every member of Valley View be personally active in exploring truth, experiencing God, entering community and expressing faith.
